The 2017+ Yamaha Sidewinder model comes with a roller secondary. The roller secondary clutch is different than other previous Yamaha models with button secondary, and uses a different helix. We have a wide selection of angles available for tuning. The stock helix when with the stock secondary spring on a Sidewider is close to coil bind (very close to being stacked coil to coil when at full shift of the clutches). Dalton helixes now have more relief depth in the spring pocket for those concerned with that.
Dalton helixes feature solid billet construction, accurate machining and angles the same as Yamaha.
Dalton roller helixes for this model have YSR prefix for the part number.

Note:Please choose your angle from the above list of pre-programmed angles. We no longer do special cuts or custom angles on this type of helix for any individual orders. There are some cases of larger volumes (10 pc minimum of the exact same helix) that may be considered, and special programming fees would apply.
Frequently Asked Question: What helix or combination should I use?
Answer: Dalton Industries is a supplier of individual components for those who tune their own clutches, as well as performance shops and clutch kit companies. We build a wide selection of high quality parts for testing and tuning, based on demand from those mentioned. We do not, and have never made any clutch tuning "kits", packages, or recommendations for complete clutch set up of individual snowmobile applications.
Since the roller secondary is fairly new, the list will expand and be updated as new models/angles are introduced. Most often, any pre-programmed angle on the list can be cut and shipped next day. We can build models not listed here, however programming fees will apply.
